The US are still hit very hard with Covid-19, they are still suffering from Covid-19 badly compared to other countries around the world. Other places across the world has seen the virus reach a peak of 200,000 cases a day, however the US are managing to double that in a day and managed to reach a peak of 1,080,000 cases! The US are seeing this peak massively and are still going to see another peak if nothing changes.
Over the weekend, the US managed to get a combined cases of 700,000 confirmed cases. Meaning over the weekend, the US managed to overtake countries with over 500,000 cases in two days than they did in 5 days! For example the UK have 141,000 cases a day and the UK are at there peak and soon to go down… if everything stays the same! The US are still at the peak, and this could get worse and worse with Omicron!
The US are set to reach a bigger peak in the next few months as schools and more are still open and with the virus being easy to catch like the common cold, it is easy to see this virus get worse in the UK! Some schools across the US have closed due to the infection rate being over 30%… however other schools are still open.
