Baseball World Series 2021 Playoff Predictions

The 2021 Baseball World Series gets underway tonight with the opening Wild Card game between AL East rivals, the Red Sox & the Yankees. New York made the divisional series last year and if they get through this one they will meet the Tampa Bay Rays again in the same round. However, Boston has home field advantage and that could be the difference.

In the NL Wild Card, the reigning World Series Champions the LA Dodgers entertain the St Louis Cardinals. They will feel a little hard done by given they had 106 regular-season wins, 18 more than NL East Divisional winners Atlanta! Their prize should they get through is no better facing the San Francisco Giants, who pipped them for their division by one game.  This one should be a classic pitching duel as Max Scherzer & Adam Wainwright are listed to open.

The whole bracket is listed below together with our predicted winners in each round & the final. Nonthing more to say other than “Batter up”.

So there we have it the bracket and eventual winners as we see it. This would mean the Dodgers not only retained their title but it would also be their 8th win. This would tie them with the Giants as the 5th most successful of all time.

Past Winners List.
