World Series 2021 Atlanta Braves 4-2 Houston Astros

The Atlanta Braves won their first world series since 1995 thanks to a resounding 7-0 win in game six. The game was pretty much over when Jorge Soler’s homer gave them a 3-0 leat in the top of the third. This led to Houston pulling their starting pitcher Luis García after only 2 2/3 innings and after that, the Astros never looked like forcing a game seven.
This was the Braves’ 4th world series win with their previous wins coming in 1914, 1957 & 1995. The two earlier ones were when the team was located in Boston and Milwaukee respectively.
Now comes the challenge of defending it. A feat that hasn’t been done since the Yankees won three in a row between 1998 & 2000 under Hall of Fame coach Joe Torre.
