AL Championship All Square After Two Games

The Boston Red Sox squared up the ALCS series at 1-1 on Saturday thanks to an early blast that saw them race into a 9-0 lead by the top of the fourth! A Grand slam in the first is a great way to start a game, however, when you get another in the very next innings you know it’s going to be your day.

Houstons starting pitcher Louis Garcia didn’t make it past the first innings and finished with a stat destroying 45 ERA! The next pitcher up Jacob Odorizzi fared little better, giving up 7 hits as well as the Grand Slam.

The Astros to their credit staged a bit of a comeback scoring 3 in the 4th and a couple on the bottom of the ninth which will at least give them some hope for the forthcoming road games.
