2021 ALCS Series All Square At The Half Way Point

Four games in and it’s still all to play for in the American League Championship series with the teams tied at 2-2. The Houston Astros won game four thanks to a late blast which saw them tie things up in the 8th and then score 7 in the ninth. This was the Astro’s best postseason single innings score and even more impressively they came with two outs!

Michael Brantley had a game to remember scoring a run and also adding three RBI’s. Altuve also had a big night with two runs and an RBI. On the other side of the coin,  Nathan Eovaldi ended up with the loss, despite only pitching 0.2 innings in relief! He gave up four runs to finish with a stat destroying 10.5 ERA.

So now it’s on to game five, which will be back in Houston.
