The 2021 American League Championship will have a familiar look to it again this year as the Houston Astros are in the final for the 5th season running! They beat the Chicago White Sox 10-1 in game four after being a run down early. This was a fitting end to high scoring series which saw them win by a combined score of 31 – 18. Who said MLB divisional series had to be cagey pitchers duels!
The Boston Red Sox are waiting for them following their 6-5 win in game four, a game that was a bit tenser, ending with the Red Sox gaining a walk-off win. This was a confidence-boosting series for the Red Sox especially given it didn’t start too well!
Anyway, this has set up a replay of the 2018 series which Boston won 4-1. Hopefully, it will be a bit closer this time.
