The World Cup is now officially over. The winners of the World Cup is Argentina! After beating France in the final via penalties 4-2. The game was very intense as France managed to come back from 2-0 down and again in extra time after Argentina scored a third.
Argentina went up against France in the World Cup final, the game was towards France as they have got one of the best teams in the world right now.
France had the upper hand with a young and talented team, however Argentina wanted the win more and managed to nearly win the match within the first 90 minutes of football.
After it all happened… Argentina were on top after beating France, the former winners, for the World Cup.
Messi has now won it all, for club and country.

Argentina are now known as the best team in world football today and could continue to be the best team in world football if they win the next cup in four years.
This could be Messi’s last World Cup, however he has stated that he will no longer be retiring and will continue.
