On Sunday the 7th April 2019, Watford went up against Wolves in what appeared to be one of the best matches in the FA Cup! For the first 30 minutes, no goals were scored and both teams looking like they were going to be the winners with the amount of chances they were both producing, however in the 36th minute Matt Doherty scored a header to make the score 1-0 to Wolves! For the rest of the half, no one was really making chances happen, Watford only really had one great chance but messed it up! Wolves had the advantage at half time, being 1 goal up and having the momentum to potentially score more goals! Wolves were pressuring Watford, however in the 62nd minute Wolves scored again, all hope seemed lost for Watford.
79th minute in, Watford trying to score at least one goal to have a chance of winning the game, Deulofeu scores! 2-1. All hope seemed lost however when it turned the 90th minute in the game, but Watford gain a penalty! Troy Deeney scored that penalty to make it 2-2! A great chance for Watford to win in extra time. Extra time started, 14 minutes in… Watford Score! 3-2 to Watford thanks to Gerard Deulofeu! After this goal, nothing else happened and Watford won the game! What a great performance by Watford to win the semi Final of the FA Cup like that! Outstanding work. Man of the Match would of went to Gerard Deulofeu for scoring 2 of Watford’s goals and securing them into the FA Cup final against Manchester City!

Watford have done something like this in the past. They were against Leicester City in the playoff and it was looking like they were going to lose, however in the 97th minute, Leicester missed a penalty and managed to lose the game by Troy Deeney scoring only a few seconds later! The game then also ended 3-2! Are Watford the comeback kings?
