They were the most popular sandals on our high street for summer and with its popular demand they are back this year. They are the ‘Loupe’ Dune shoe and they are making their way back into our summer wardrobe.
They are expected to clear the shelves again this year, they are £85 and are a double for the designer £490 pair from Hermés. They are a simple, effortless and a comfortable sandals – perfect for summer.
They were introduced in 2018 in two colours, black and tan, they were restocked six times over the summer and will be restocked this year with many more shades and prints.
They are on the website in many colours: black, tan, white, orange, pink, turquoise, yellow and red. They are also in four different prints: yellow snake print, leopard print, snake print and denim; they have not been released yet but there are thousands on the waiting list to get them. However they keep selling out in many sizes.
A Dunes spokesperson told Femail: “At the height of summer, one out of every six customer images that Dune London were tagged in on Instagram featured the Loupe sandal.”
“It was the bestselling style in store and online every week from April until June 2018 and ‘Loupe’ was the most searched for item on the Dune website, every week, from May to July 2018.”
