Netflix’s Secret Obsession film is creeping viewers out…

If you like a psychological thriller film take a look at Netflix’s new film, Secret Obsession.

Former Disney star Brenda Song plays one of the main characters, Jennifer. Jennifer wakes up after a damaging attack with amnesia. Her ‘husband’ Russell is by her side when she wakes up and takes her home to a secluded mountain estate home. However, she soon discovers that Russell is hiding a secret which leaves her life in danger.

The attack happened in the middle of the night and Jennifer is seen in great danger. When trying to escape from a car park her car would not start leaving her to jump out on a road where she was hit by a passing car.

Since her attack was a suspected crime a detective was assigned to her case whose own daughter went missing and was never found. He was determined to save Jennifer from a similar situation before it was too late.

*SPOILER* Russell is actually a crazy stalker who claims to be her husband and no one even questions him at the hospital when the nurses/doctors did not know her name. Once Jennifer gets flashbacks and figures out he is not her husband she tries to escape. However, this makes him more crazy and yes he is a killer…

The film has only been out for a couple of days but has had viewers scared and gripping to their cushions.

Posted on social media, one person wrote: “I watched the Netflix movie Secret Obsession and oh my God, I couldn’t breath. So much anxiety while watching it.”

Another added:Movie just ended, and my heart is still beating out of my chest! The suspense was unreal.”

Other viewers have been comparing it to You and Dirty John which are also Netflix’s own films.

If you have not seen it yet, what are you waiting for?
