Netflix released a new horror film last week and many people have a lot to say about it.
The eight part series follows the story of a famous writer Emma who finds out the character she has been creating for her books has came to life. Emma has to figure out an ending to the books in order to stop the character from her nightmares and save her hometown. The name of the character is Marianne and she is an evil witch.
The series is filmed in french but has subtitles, the director has added many jump moments and has made the it “terrifying”.
Twitter users have been shocked by the series and many are terrified.

If you’re interested, an official synopsis reads: “Lured back to her hometown, a famous horror writer discovers that the evil spirit who plagues her dreams is now wreaking havoc in the real world.” Netflix recommends that it’s ‘best watched with company and locked doors’.
