Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child, Chicago, on January 15th 2018 via surrogate. Rumours started to form that the same surrogate was having the couple’s fourth child and Kim has just confirmed it.
Kim, Kourtney and Khloe featured on Watch What Happens Live on Monday night, host Andy Cohen. He went on to ask Kim if the rumours they are having a baby boy were true.
“We are,” Kim confirmed, adding that the baby boy’s due date was “sometime soon”.

She revealed the sex of the child by adding: “It’s a boy, I think it’s been out there. I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and told some people. I can’t remember who I told because I never get drunk.”
US Weekly has reported that Kim, 38, and Kanye, 41, used the same surrogate who carried their daughter Chicago and will be welcoming their baby boy in May.
On an episode of KUWTK Kim said: “Kanye wants to have more. He’s been harassing me. He wants like seven. He’s like stuck on seven. [Seven kids is] crazy. I could never, especially in like the world we live in.
“I’ve been kinda hesitant about having more kids because it literally keeps me up at night, thinking about how my kids will survive in a crazy world like this.”
Kim had raised the issue of rising gun crime in the US which has made her hesitant to have more children and kept her up at night thinking about it. Kim told E! that four children is her ideal number. She already has North, Saint and Chicago who are aged five to one-years-old.A year today, baby Chi was born and kim announced the news in her website at the time saying: “SHE’S HERE!”
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” she wrote.
“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”
“North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”
Kim was very private when it came to the pregnancy of Chicago and did not confirm the rumours until she wa son her way into the world. She has opened up over the years about her struggles to get pregnant and documented the process on KUWTK. Whilst pregnant with North she suffered from pre-eclampsia, this is a complication characterized by high blood pressure. She also had placenta accreta in both pregnancies, which occurs when the placenta attaches too deeply in the uterine wall. She said she was prepared to get her uterus removed following the birth of Saint but opted out of surgery so she could expand her family via surrogate.
