Jamie Foxx
Eric Marlon Bishop, formally known as Jamie Foxx professionally, is an American Actor, singer, and comedian that was born on the 13th December 1967.
Jamie Foxx is an American-born actor that was born on the 13th December 1967 in Terrell, Texas. His father is called Darrel Bishop, he was then renamed Shahid Abdula following his conversion to Islam and he was a stockbroker, his mother Louise Annette Talley Dixon. This all changed as Jamie Foxx was adopted and raised by Estelle Marie, a domestic worker and nursery operator, and Mark Talley, who was a yard worker. He had small contact with his birth parents, who were not a part of his upbringing at all.
Foxx began playing piano when he was only 5 years old, it was a strict upbringing that caused him to do the piano and as a teenager, he had a part-time job as a pianist and choir leader in Terrell's New Hope Baptist Church. Other than this, Foxx, also known as Eric Marlon Bishop, had a secret talent, his talent was telling jokes. When he was in school, Foxx's teachers would reward him and Foxx would tell a joke. He attended Terrell High School. He managed to get top grades and played basketball and American football.
From the years 1989 to 2003, it was his first time acting and his first time becoming a comedian. He told his first jokes at a comedy club's open night in 1989, this was only due to accepting his girlfriends dare at the time. Other than this, he joined the cast for In Living Colour in 1991 and made his debut in 1992 comedy Toys. He played in many other movies such as Any Given Time, Collateral and was a star on his own sitcom called The Jamie Foxx Show!
In 1994 as well as appearing in all these movies and films, he managed to create his first album on the Fox record label. This was not successful however and many years later in 2003, he appeared in Benzino's music video.
Jamie Foxx made a name for himself in Hollywood however, being in a lot of huge roles like the 2007 action movie Thriller, The Amazing Spiderman 2, and Just Mercy. All of these star films got him a spot as a star on the Hollywood walk of fame! He has really made a name for himself and managed to become one of the best actors.
