
Andrew Garfield
Andrew Russell Garfield is an American-born English actor that is mainly known for his work in The Amazing Spiderman and The Amazing Spiderman 2.
Andrew Russell Garfield was born on the 20th August 1983 in Los Angeles, California. His parents are Lynn Nee Hillman, who was born in Essex, England and his Father Richard Garfield, from California. Garfield's parents ran a small interior design business and on the side, his mother was a teaching assistant at a nursey school and his father was a head coach of Guildford City Swimming Club. For his early years leading up to his career, he was a swimmer and a gymnast and originally intended to study business but then became interested in acting at the age of 16!
Before becoming the most well known character in the world, Garfield started his acting career by taking some acting classes in Guildford, Surry. Appearing in some theatre productions of Bugsy Malone. He joined a small youth theatre workshop group in Epsom and took his A-Levels in Theatre studies. He began focusing on acting in 2004, where he won a Manchester Evening News Theatre award for the best Newcomer for his performance in Kes at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre. Garfield then made his British Debut in 2005 appearing in the Channel 4 teen drama, Sugar Rush! He was also apart of Doctor Who and said it was an "honour" to be apart of the show.
Andrew Garfield had a lot of TV shows movie roles, such as being apart of the Social Networking that started Justin Timberlake, he landed a massive lead role as Spiderman, after 3 years of the movie being off air. 2012 Spiderman was in the making as Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. The Amazing Spiderman was then released and made Andrew Garfield was notable remembered as one of the best Spidermen out of the three that has been given the crown.
A lot of appearances were meant to happen in The Amazing Spiderman, however the show was cancelled during production. His version of Peter Parker was planned to be in the MCU, Marvel Cinematic Universe, however with the show getting cancelled, there was no reason to place him in there, now Tom Holland took his place.
