This spider is fairly big as is common around Asia it can grow unto 8 to 10 cementer with it web matching to be 1-2 meter long. In the sunlight there webs give off a gold glowing colour which lures prey to it death.

They are located all around Asia from India in the west to Japan in the east. This spider is also a traveller hitching ride and being a ship stowaway. They are seen as very beautiful spiders, that’s if you like spiders that is.

They have a venom laced bite and can be extremely aggressive spiders and love invading new territory. It is one of the oldest spider species on earth. Its bite will only cause pain to humans but is very deadly to its prey which it needs to feed on.

The female Joro spider is four times larger than the males and if anything comes on the web the spiders is normally out for the hunt so for a male to get close to the female it will gently drum on it web to communicate with the female rather than it turning it full out food frenzy.
