Wilder v Fury 2 Happening When?

Wilder v Fury 2 Happening When?

As we all know, Tyson Fury did the unthinkable, almost beating the WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder and almost capturing the WBC belt on his return to the ring after a few years. Almost named the best comeback in boxing history, however the bout was named a draw and therefore a rematch is due… but when is that rematch going to take place?

Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder announced on Friday that he will be fighting the Gypsy king, Tyson Fury, very soon; after he battles Luis Ortiz that is. These two went up against each other back in 2018, Luis Ortiz shocked the world of boxing after almost knocking out the Bronze bomber with a right hook, however he fell short and lost the bout in the 10th round via TKO. Wilder v Ortiz 2 will be a great fight and a great chance for Ortiz to win the title he could have won in 2018. If Ortiz does end up beating Wilder however, the Fury v Wilder fight will happen late 2020 instead of early 2020! 2018 fight between Ortiz and Wilder was a close fight, with all judges scoring the bout 85-84 in favour of Wilder. The next fight between these two will be a fight you won’t want to miss!

Fury is ready to fight Wilder and believes that he will beat the WBC champion second time round, since he should have won the first bout. Wilder, to a lot of people, lost the fight to the gypsy king, however since there was a draw, the bout is scheduled to happen again either early 2020, if Wilder beats Ortiz and doesn’t lose his title, or late 2020, if Wilder loses and has an immediate rematch with Ortiz! The rematch will most likely happen in either February or March… depending on when the rematch between Wilder and Ortiz is!
