Wilder Takes Part to Build Anticipation for Joshua!

World Heavyweight Titlist Deontay Wilder went up against Dominic Breazeale and took him out in the first round, however after the fight he mentioned a potential fight with the IBF, WBO, WBA and IBO World Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua! Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder have had this rivalry for some time now and have been due fight since they started, however both teams could never agree terms, and or could never agree on a deal! Now that this has come out… we can only assume that the fight is about to happen between these two fighters and this fight will determine who is the better fighter out of the two, also the better fighter in the heavyweight division!

Dominic Breazeale has been in the ring with both fighters now. Went up against Joshua on the 25th June 2016, Breazeale lasted 7 rounds before getting knocked out by the heavyweight champion, not once but twice! Recently, on the 18th May 2019, Wilder went up against him and he managed to knock him out in under 3 minutes! From looking at this fight and comparing the two, Wilder will be the favourite since he was the one that knocked out Breazeale in the first round as Joshua couldn’t knock him out till the 7th Round!

WBC Champion Wilder could have fought Joshua on June 1st but rejected an amazing offer to try and fight Tyson Fury again since they got ordered to fight by the WBC board. So, Joshua had to fight Jarrell Miller, but now after he failed the drugs test, Andy Ruiz Jr. After the Joshua fight on June 1st, we could be seeing a Wilder v Joshua fight next! Eddie Hearn will be working on deals and negotiate a contract between these two that will make sure this fight will happen, however when will this fight most likely happen? Wilder still needs to fight Tyson Fury since they drew!
