Callum Smith Eyes Up Canelo Chance!

WBA Super Middleweight Champion Callum Smith is wanting nothing more, than a chance at beating and retaining his WBA title against one of the best boxers in his division… Canelo! He has been wanting to fight Canelo for some time now and hopes that in the future, there will be a fight between these two because he believes he can be the second fighter to beat Canelo if they end up in the ring together.

Callum Smith will have to wait for a chance to fight Canelo since he will be fighting Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam on the 1st June 2019 for the WBA Super World Middleweight Championship and the WBC Diamond Super Middleweight Title!

Hassian N’Dam N’Jikam has been in the ring 40 times and has won 37 out of 40 with 3 losses and 1 via the way of KO. Hassian N’Dam believes that he can beat the English Champion and take the belt away from him and potential knock him out!

Callum Smith (25-0) told the BBC that he must be doing something right if the Unified Middleweight Champion is mentioning his name as a potential fight in the future! “My name coming out of Canelo’s mouth, I must be doing something right.” Callum said! Smith will have to wait some time before fighting Canelo since Canelo has been ordered by the IBF to defend his title against the number 1 contender… Sergiy Derevyanchenko! Canelo is currently the face of boxing and one of the best lbs for lbs fighters in the world and won’t want to lose anymore bouts! He has only lost once and that was against Floyd Mayweather!

Back when Smith was going to fight Groves, not many fans believed he could beat him, nearly everyone wrote him off and said he was going to lose either by TKO or unanimous decisions. Smith’s said, “That was a lot of pressure for myself.”, but he pulled through and showed everyone that he could beat Groves. Now… he wants Canelo!
