It’s no secret that both Joshua and Wilder have been trying to get a fight together for some time now! Both fighters have been giving each other trash talk and calling each other out every so often as well, however after Wilder’s fight against Fury, controversial draw by the way, both Fury and Wilder called out Joshua to say he was a chicken and wouldn’t go anywhere near them! Earlier this week, Wilder said that Joshua’s team is begging him for a fight! This fight would determine would is the best boxer in the world! Joshua has the most titles however fought less fights than Wilder, but Wilder hasn’t had a massive fight until the 1st December and he pretty much lost! Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has previously tried to get the fight to happen, however negotiations failed and Wilder ended up fighting Fury! Joshua has said he is 100% fighting in April 2019, but its if Wilder wants to fight then! This fight would be one of the best fights of the year if it ends up happening and will decided who is the best heavyweight boxer in the world!
If this fight was going to happen, it’ll make the Heavyweight Division great again, almost like the Wilder v Fury fight. I’ll be televised around the world and will have more pay-per-view hits than the Wilder v Fury fight. Wilder is known for having one of the hardest punches in the Division and having the wildest hands ever, meaning it’s hard to pick out when he’ll throw a punch and also most people believe he can’t box very well and the reason he’s a boxer is because he’s got one of the hardest hitting punches! Joshua on the other hand, can get knocked down easily, he’s scared of the one hit punch that a lot of fighters can do, and he does tend to slip sometimes leaving his head unguarded!
