Whyte v Rivas!

Whyte v Rivas!

Two heavyweight contenders, only one winner, whoever wins this bout is the number one contender against one of the best heavyweights in the division, Deontay Wilder! Dillian Whyte has made his way back up to the top after losing his first title defence against Anthony Joshua and now has another great chance of getting a world title. Whyte has got one of the best chances in the world to beat Deontay Wilder however he must go through Oscar Rivas first, the unbeaten Colombian. “Rivas is undefeated and looking to take Dillian’s No. 1 spot” Says Eddie Hearn. Could this be Whyte’s second loss in boxing?

Since his loss to Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte has went 9 fights out of 9 unbeaten, beating the likes of Dereck Chisora… Twice, Joseph Parker and some others. His loss to Joshua lost him the opportunity to fight any other title holders, since Joshua would of been there first choice for fighting after he beat Whyte. Now, he has the chance of beating Wilder… if he doesn’t lose to Dominic Breazeale that is. Whyte could be the next man Anthony Joshua fights for the WBC title if he beats Wilder. Whyte is one of the best British boxers in the world and he will prove it July 20th!

Oscar Rivas has been boxing since 2009 and has made a huge name for himself recently, beating 26 out of 26 fighters and knocking out 18 of them. This talent doesn’t go unnoticed! Standing at 6 foot tall and weighing in at 234lbs! He could be the next fighter to beat Whyte and take his number 1 spot from him. Rivas has deserved a chance of being at the number one spot for some time now, but now is his chance to take what is rightfully his! Will he beat Whyte and become the number 1 contender for Wilder’s WBC title?

This bout will take place at the 02 Arena in London on the 20th July 2019. Don’t miss out on this fight. Could be the end of Whyte’s title career! Who will win?
