For the past month or so, Anthony Joshua’s Promoter Eddie Hearn has been trying to secure a fight for the Englishman and hasn’t succeed as of yet, however, next week we could be finding out who Joshua will be fighting in April or June! Eddie Hearn has tried contacting both Wilder’s and Fury’s team, in hopes of getting an incredible contest that everyone wants to see, however this hasn’t worked due to the WBC board wanting to have a rematch between Wilder and Fury. Whyte is out the question as well, since he thought the offer was “ridiculous”. The only other person left that could potential fight Joshua is Jarrell Miller! The main fight was meant to be against Wilder for the WBC championship so he could unify the division but Wilder wants Fury again! Miller and Joshua have already gone face to face, this could be the fight! This must be the fight! Joshua v Miller!
After this fight happens, if Joshua wins this bout, we can see Eddie Hearn trying to get another fight against Wilder or Fury arranged again! These are the only two people Joshua wants to fight, one holds the WBC belt as the other is undefeated and wants to win all the titles back! This could make for an interesting year for boxing! Wilder v Fury 2… Joshua v Miller… Joshua v Wilder…. Joshua v Fury? Could any of this happen? Possibly! Eddie Hearn’s will try his best to get a fight between one of these two fighters sorted for Joshua either this year or next! We could however be seeing one of the best boxers in the heavyweight division lose his title! Either Wilder could lose to Fury or Joshua lose to Miller! WBC would allow Fury or Wilder to fight Joshua, but only after these two have a rematch to decide who is the real winner between these two incredible fighters.
Whatever happens, we can say Joshua will have a fight decided in the near future! We could be seeing Joshua fight for the first time in the US! Joshua v Miller is most likely going to happen due to the rematch between Fury and Wilder most likely happening! Joshua will be furious he didn’t get to fight someone who he wanted to fight, but at least he could have a fight! Whyte pulled out and Wilder’s team isn’t answering him back! Who would win between Joshua and Miller?
