What’s Next for Tyson Fury?

After a controversial draw against Deontay Wilder, it can be said that Tyson Fury still has what it takes to be a world heavyweight champion! Tyson could end up unifying the division this year if he gets a shot against Anthony Joshua and has his rematch against Deontay Wilder, however there has been a lot of news spread about Anthony Joshua aiming to fight Tyson Fury. It’s said that Fury’s team got an offer of 60/40 and went back to Joshua’s team and asked for 50/50! If this fight ends up happening this could be a fight everyone wants to see! If this fight goes on, who would have the better chance of winning? When we look at both fighters and their records, we can see they are both undefeated, however Fury managed to beat Klitschko and ran rings around him, he couldn’t stop the Gypsy king as when Joshua fought him, he nearly lost the bout! Joshua did end up knocking Klitschko out in the 11th round. Tyson Fury on the other hand won the fight easily and every referee said he won the fight! Could we be seeing a new undisputed heavyweight champion in the future? Possibly! Anthony Joshua has the power and Tyson Fury is very awkward to fight against!

If this fight against Joshua doesn’t go through, the other option is a rematch against Wilder. Wilder and Fury have been named the best in the Division since there fight, there fight was so memorable due to Fury managing to get up after being knocked out on the canvas! Fury had heart that match and didn’t want to let his fans down. Tyson Fury should have won that fight, however since this was a draw, WBC board has announced there should be a rematch between the two fights. Even if Fury or Wilder fights someone else before fighting each other, this fight is 100% happening in the future. We can expect to see Wilder trying to go for the knockout punch in the earlier rounds instead of waiting till the later rounds! Tyson Fury will most likely try and win the fight on points again seen as though he did nearly pull it off on the 1st December! Wilder will have to improve massively if he wants any chance of defeating Fury!

These are the only two fights Fury would be interested in, since he thinks he deserves a chance to fight for all the titles when he came back after so many years. Instead of fighting an easy fight, he decided to go straight for Deontay Wilder and after that fight call out Anthony Joshua! He has gained a lot of people’s respect for this. The way he trained and lost so much weight to fight again, not many people believed he would do it! If Fury doesn’t fight Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder next, who should he fight next? He deserves a title shot, after the fight against Wilder!
