Canelo has had over 50 fights right now and only had one fight in New York, which was the most important fight of his life. Canelo went up against Rocky Fielding and showed the world why he’s the best Mexican boxer! He stepped up from Middleweight to Super Middleweight and still has it! Canelo can be one of the best fighters in that division, but what would be his next fight? He’s fought the easy fight now it’s time for the harder fights! Daniel Jacobs is the potential next fight for Canelo! Daniel Jacob is working with promoter Eddie Hearn so this fight maybe happening very soon! If this fight were to happen… who would be the favourite?
Saul Alvarez has had 54 fights all together, only losing once! His lost came to Floyd Mayweather Jr, this is understandable since Mayweather Jr is one of the best boxers in the world and he is still undefeated in 50 bouts! Saul is considered one of Mexico’s best fighters! Started boxing in 2005, he’s managed to gain 3 titles and one of the best boxing contracts of all time. His trainers know what he needs to train for, we could see that against Rocky Fielding! He is 5’8 and has a 179cm reach! Canelo has one of the best KO rates in boxing! Knocking out 65% of his opponents, 51 wins with 35 knockouts!

Daniel Jacobs has only had 37 fights on the other hand, losing 2 in the process! He currently holds the IBF world middleweight championship and he’s wanting to unify the division! One of his loses came from Gennady Golovkin, who was undefeated until he came up again Canelo on the 9th September 2018! He other loses came from Dmitry Pirog, he is still currently undefeated! He started boxing in 2007 and only has one title to his name which is the IBF championship! He’s 5’11 and has a reach of 185cm! Knockout rate is 78%!
When looking at the stats, Canelo will most likely be the favourite in this contest because Daniel Jacob hasn’t had as many fights as Canelo and when looking back at their loses, Canelo beat Gennady Golovkin as Daniel Jacobs didn’t, however Jacobs has the better reach and height but as we seen in Canelo’s last fight, we can assume that he’ll be working on body shots again! This will be a close contest since both fighters have the best knockout rate. Will the “Miracle man”, Daniel Jacobs win this bout? Or will Saul Alvarez win this contest due to him having some of the best trainers?
