UFC Vegas 17 – Thompson Vs Neal
The onslaught of UFC events just keeps on coming – this weekend with a welterweight headline fight between Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and Geoff Neal. This match up was originally slated as the co-main event, but was promoted to top of the card, when the initial headline event of Leon Edwards against Khamzat Chimaev was postponed due to Edwards testing positive to COVID 19. There have also been some other COVID related cancellations to the entire fight card, but with battles featuring Jose Aldo, Sijara Eubanks and Marlon Moraes there are still plenty of interesting battles
This is the last event of 2020 – and what a year it has been! We’ve got a lay-off of 4 weeks before we return in January with UFC Vegas 18, then the following week it is the return of Conor McGregor in the rematch with Dustin Poirier at UFC 257
