The UFC returned to action last weekend with a card packed with many Asian based fighters, as the organisation continues its expansion into the Chinese market. Although many of the competitors weren’t as well known as we normally expect from a card, many held very impressive records
The main event featured the strawweight championship fight between titleholder Jessica Andrade and Weili Zhang. Both women were well matched in terms of experience as well as physical stature, but it was Weili who came out on top with a stunning first-round victory over the popular Andrade. At just 43 seconds of the very first round, she landed a series of stunning blows to win by TKO. This stretches Weilis win streak now to a massive 20.
