Tyson Fury is one of the most decorated boxers in the United Kingdom, showing up two of the top fighters in there primes. Klitchko and Wilder.
Currently the WBC world heavyweight champion and been told to face Dillian Whyte and Deontay Wilder for the 3rd time. The fight with Wilder has been said to happen, however Fury has other ideas in mind.
Furys team has stated that they do not want to fight Dillian Whyte for the WBC world heavyweight championship but with Whyte being WBC mandatory champion, Tyson Fury must fight Whyte due to WBC rules. This could lead to Fury losing the belt.
If Tyson Fury was to lose the belt… the fight between him and Joshua would not happen leading to Joshua to fight Whyte for the WBC world heavyweight championship as Joshua is wanting to win all the titles for the first time since 1999. So either way Joshua is getting a chance at the WBC world heavyweight championship says Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn.
The WBC board will be taking action if Fury does not take the fight between him and Whyte. They will take the WBC world heavyweight championship off him and make a fight happen between the current champion and the current mandatory fighter.
With this in mind, the fight between Fury and Whyte should be happening in 2021 since near the end of the year… Wilder will be going up against Fury for the third and final bout to determine who the true champion is and to see if Wilder can regain the crown!
