Top 5 Fighters of the Decade!

2020 is now here, more and more fights are getting sorted and more and more fighters are getting their chances. This Decade has been great for boxing and has shown some new talents that could be great champions in the future. This year has given us some great fights, great knockouts and great moments throughout the year and here are our top 5 fighters of the decade!

#5 Tyson Fury

After his battle with Depression and becoming an alcoholic, it’s clear to say Tyson Fury is one of the best boxers right now and throughout this decade he won the WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO world heavyweight championships but unfortunately lost it after the depression he went through. He’s now back, fighting Deontay Wilder!

#4 Vasiliy Lomachenko

Lomachenko has been in top form and has won most of the lightweight championships this year, proving he is one of the best pounds for pound fighters in the world. He still has a long way to go and has more fighters wanting to fight him however right now he is one of the best fighters in his division and can be up there with some of the best fighters right now.

#3 Deontay Wilder

Wilder is in this list because he is still unbeaten and has the best knockout record in the heavyweight division, he has only missed two knockouts and has been one of the best at knocking opponents out. A dangerous right hand that could knock anyone out… apart from Tyson Fury!

Canelo has been in some great fights this year and has proven that even though he has lost one of his fights, he is still considered the best boxers in the world! Beating the likes of GGG, Sergey Kovalev and Amir Khan! Known as the number 1 pound for pound fighter!

One of the greatest fighters in the world, he will always be in the number one spot in many fans eyes due to him winning all of his contests and showing the world the best defensive plays in the sport. 50 – 0 is his current record and the rumours of him returning are slowing down since he said he may not be returning!
