Oleksandr Usyk is a one of a kind boxer, only 16 fights in the Cruiserweight division and 16 wins, he currently holds the WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF and IBO World Cruiserweight championships and beat some of the best Cruiserweights in that division, however, it said that Oleksandr Usyk wants to go up to the Heavyweight Division to fight Anthony Joshua for all of his titles, however he will be wanting to fight someone before stepping into the big league. Povetkin has said he only wants to have 2 more fights before retiring… Usyk’s team has sent an offer. Usyk will have to try and see what the Heavyweight division is like before fighting the best in that division and there’s no better way to do it than fighting someone who has already fought AJ. Usyk’s team has said that he is fighting on the 18th May 2019, Usyk’s team has offered fighters like Joseph Parker, Povetkin and Dillian Whyte, however right now it’s looking like it’s going to be Povetkin.
