Most Times as Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World!

In boxing, each fighter has a chance of being a champion. Not every fighter will have the chance to become world champion but at no point is a boxer one champion, they are most likely a three to four time world champion, however, one man has become the undisputed world champion of the world more than 3 times in his whole career. Nowadays we won’t see anything like this again, we may see a new two-time undisputed champion, if Tyson Fury beats Wilder and Ruiz! That one man that has achieved this, is known as one of the greatest boxers to ever live and to ever perform! He will always be known as “The Greatest”!

Muhammad Ali was born on the 17th January 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It’ll be a surprise to many if some fans don’t know who he is! He was known as the best boxer to ever live. Ali started his boxing career back in 1960 when he went up against Tunney Hunsaker. Ali won that bout on points and started his legendary career! Ali’s first world title bout was on the 25th February 1964, he was against Sonny Liston and managed to win that fight in the 6th round! That one fight was voted as the fight of the year in Ring Magazine! He was unstoppable, until he went up against Joe Frazier in 1971. Frazier beat Ali on points, and this was a huge upset for Ali. He was on a 31-win streak then lost to Frazier. After this fight however, Ali ended up beating Frazier and had one of the best careers in the world!

When looking back at great careers in boxing, Muhammad Ali will always be up there with one of the best careers in the world. Winning the world titles in 1964, 1974 and in 1978. He had one of the best careers and can be named the greatest boxer to ever live! Unfortunately, he passed away on the 3rd June 2016, however he will be remembered as one of the best boxers ever!
