Mairis Briedis, one of the finest boxers in the Cruiserweight division, will be going up against current unbeaten fighter, Jai Opetaia. This fight will take place very soon in May and will be one of the last chances for former cruiserweight champion Briedis for a world title shot unless he carries on boxing at the age of 37. Which some boxers do carry on.

Jai Opetaia has the chance to fight for longer and as a first-time champion if he wins this contest. 21 fights, 21 wins, and 17 by way of KO. What a great fighter he is becoming and what a great fight he is doing!

The fight will be 12 rounds long with a massive chance of someone getting knocked out in a few rounds, as both are knockout specialists and both have never gone down in another fight. The only loss one fighter has is against the current heavyweight champion and former cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
