Kell Brook Stopped in 4th Round!

On Saturday, Kell Brook went up against WBO world welterweight champion Terence Crawford for the WBO belt. This was a highly anticipated bout that could have ended with Crawford losing his first fight against former champion Kell Brook. This bout was predicted to go the whole way with Kell Brook having a fighting chance, however, that didn’t happen.

Terrence Crawford managed to shock the world and the welterweight division by stopping Kell Brook in the fourth round via TKO. This could have happened due to Kell Brook injuring his eye in his last two fights against Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence Jr. The former champion has said that this could be the end of the road for him.

“At the elite level, it’s all over for Brook, It was quite uncomfortable watching a former world champion pawing away at his eyes and cheekbones. That was the worrying thing for me – he clearly has a problem with those injuries.” said Costello.

Since this could be the end of the road for Kell Brook, where does that leave Terrence Crawford? Right now, he is considered the best welterweight fighter in that division and is wanting to fight more champions to try and submit his legacy in the boxing world. The quest to have all the welterweight championships is underway for the current WBO world welterweight champion.
