Joshua vs Usyk 2 to be Hosted…

Anthony Joshua is hoping to have his world title fight with Usyk very soon, however with some circumstances, there has been a delay that has made this fight seem impossible to happen, however now it is seeming to have the go-ahead.

The reason this fight seemed impossible, was due to the Ukrainian war against Russia. Usyk went back to his home country to fight for them against Russia, as they began the invasion. There have been rumors that Usyk has been given the go-ahead to leave the military and fight Joshua for the world titles he won back in 2021!

It is likely that the fight will take place in Saudi Arabia in late June, this is the statement that was given by the Ukrainian Promoter Alexander Krassyuk

“Saudi is the place we are in discussions with at the moment, Late June is the date we are looking at. Nothing has been confirmed on paper. We are working on it. There are other options but we take it step by step.”

The rematch was deemed to have happened in May, however, the Russian invasion stopped this from happening and now the fight is set to happen in late June, early July.

Usyk beat Joshua via a unanimous point victory in London Stadium in September 2021. Also, nearly knocked out the heavyweight former champion in the last round with a flurry of punches.
