Josh Warrington a 2 Time World Champion!

On the 26th March 2022, Josh Warrington managed to become a two time featherweight champion. He went up against Kiko Martinez for the IBF world featherweight championship at the First Direct Arena in Leeds. The fight could of went the opposite way, however it was clear from the start of the fight who the winner would have been!

In the first round, it is believed that Kiko Martinez sustained a cut in both of his eyes and on his forehead and even went down in the first round. As Josh Warrington was believed to have got a broken jaw throughout the brawl!

The fight ended in the 7th round via a TKO with Josh Warrington becoming a two time champion after losing back in 2021 to Mauricio Lara via the way of TKO. This is what Warrington wanted and now he is aiming for a new fighting for a new title very soon. So far, Josh Warrington wants a United States fight with someone.
