Recently, Wilder has been rumoured and met up with DAZN and could be signing with them which could lead to a Joshua v Wilder fight this year. There hasn’t been anything that has said Wilder has taken the deal as of yet, however since the Wilder v Fury 2 fight is no longer happening, the WBC board have demanded Wilder to take the fight against Dominic Breazeale, which would happen anyway if he signs with DAZN. Earlier this year, Eddie Hearn did try and get a fight between Joshua and Wilder, and he tried to get Wilder to go to DAZN, but Wilder rejected the offer. The DAZN offer to Wilder has been said to be $20 million for his first fight, however the fight against Joshua could be worth double the amount… According to Sources that is. If this is true, then Wilder will most likely take the deal.

In 2016, Anthony Joshua did go up against Dominic Breazeale, however that ended in the 7th round with Joshua winning on TKO. So, if this fight between Wilder and Breazeale does happen… this could determine would win the Joshua v Wilder fight. If Wilder doesn’t knockout Breazeale in the 7th round or even win the fight, we can expect to see Joshua win, or Breazeale just got a lot better. If Wilder knocks him out sooner, then Wilder could pick up the win against Joshua. Right now, we don’t know what could happen, all we know is this could be the deal that gets Joshua to fight Wilder and unify the division once and for all!
