Anthony Joshua has lost his win streak and lost all his titles to the upset king, as some fans have named him, Andy Ruiz Jr and has said he is activating his rematch clause so he can regain what is rightfully his! Joshua will be hoping that the rematch will be completely different to the first fight, due to him being knocked down 4 times throughout the fight! He has had history of losing to small fighters however this was completely different! No one expected it to happen!
Due to Joshua losing his IBF, WBO, WBA and IBO titles, he will be having a rematch and this rematch could be in one of two places that has been selected and it’s not what Ruiz wants! The two places could be: Madison Square Garden once again on the 14th November 2019, or on the 14th December in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, however Ruiz was hoping the fight would take place in Mexico in his home town and since he is the champion he may have the right to pick the place! Mexico wouldn’t be the best option for Ruiz anyway, since Joshua has vowed to get his belts back and if he loses in his home country, it’s going to be devastating for him!
Andy Ruiz Jr has already started trash talking Joshua! Saying he hasn’t got any boxing skill and won’t be able to win back his titles! If Joshua didn’t have a reason to fight him… he now does! The upset king could be losing his newly won titles sooner than he knows it! They will both be training hard for this fight and we will see who the victor is on one of these days
