Anthony Joshua lost to the underdog known as Andy Ruiz Jr, the most historic night in boxing history… Andy Ruiz Jr becomes the first ever Mexican heavyweight champion after defeating Anthony Joshua for the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO world heavyweight championships in the 7th round via TKO, Joshua went down twice in the third round and twice in the 7th round! No one expected this result and not even Joshua thought this happened, he was wanting a fight and was hoping for a great fight, but this fight ended with a disappointing result and ended with Joshua losing his titles.
“I don’t think I would be content if I don’t win the titles, for me as a man it means more than anything.” Said Joshua. Joshua is wanting to regain his titles back after his shock defeat to Ruiz in USA but has a fear that history will repeat itself. He will always fear that he loses his next fight with Ruiz Jr and will be back down to the bottom of the list of the top boxers in the world.
