Former heavyweight titlist Joseph Parker has said that he’s looking to regain a heavyweight title back, what better way to get that title back than fighting the current unified heavyweight champion of the world, Andy Ruiz! These two fighters have been in the ring with each other before, however this time round could be a new and different type of contest!
Joseph Parker has recently fought a fighter by the name of Alex Leapai, on the 29th June. The bout lasted 10 rounds out of 12, after the referee Ricky Gonzalez thought Alex Leapai had has enough and ended the bout via TKO. Now he wants to fight Andy Ruiz once again to see if he can beat the first ever Mexican heavyweight champion, after he caused one of the biggest upsets in boxing history! The first time these two fighters were in the ring together, was back in 2016. The fight was one of the best anyone has seen and very close between the two fighters. Joseph Parker won the fight via majority decision; however, some fans believe that Andy Ruiz won the fight.

Andy Ruiz Jr has improved a lot since the first time these two fighters stepped into the ring with each other. As we have seen the past month after achieving the unthinkable. Andy Ruiz Jr will most likely fight Anthony Joshua before fighting anyone since Joshua has the rematch clause ready to strike. Every champion has the rematch clause in since they would want to have a chance at winning back what they lost!
