Floyd v Pacquiao 2

Floyd v Pacquiao 2

On Saturday 20th July 2019, Manny Pacquiao went up against former unbeaten fighter Keith Thurman and beat him with ease, however Floyd Mayweather was there to watch the fight ringside to see how Pacquiao would do, he didn’t seem to impressed since he took to Twitter on Tuesday to criticise his former opponent. Pretty much saying he doesn’t want his name to be mentioned in Pacquiao’s career anymore and that everyone was saying he was “scared” to fight him were wrong and tried to think of excuses when he beat him easily! This didn’t end however, Pacquiao replied to Floyd via Twitter.

After this tweet, Mayweather replied via Instagram and said “Bottom line, I make more money than you; I beat you, then I signed you! I was only at your fight supervising you, my employee, as any real BOSS would do.” The 40-year-old Pacquiao wants to have one last fight to settle everything and see who the best fighter is out of these two is now! This fight in 2015 delivered over 4.5 million pay-per-view buys and could be more if these two steps into the ring once again at some point this year or next!

Floyd did however say last year on Instagram that he is wanting to come back to boxing to fight Pacquiao and did say “coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year another 9 figure pay day on the way,” but this fight never happened, this fight is going to be rumoured for some time since these two need to have a fight, but for now we are not seeing a fight for a while… maybe this year. Would this fight be for the WBA world welterweight championship?
