Floyd Mayweather v Tenshin Nasukawa!

An exhibition took place on New Year’s Eve between Mayweather and Nasukawa! The fight was meant to last 9 minutes, meaning 3 rounds of boxing. Before the fight happened, Floyd said he wasn’t promising a knockout since its only 9 minutes long, Floyd Mayweather wanted this fight to be as entertaining as possible! This isn’t the fight we all got, however. This fight was meant to go the 3 rounds of entertainment and a great fight throughout, but this didn’t really happen! The 41-year-old ended up flooring the Japanese Kickboxing Tenshin Nasukawa in the first round, not once but three times! Many people thought the kickboxer would have been a lot harder to fight, but he managed to last a 2 minutes and 19 seconds before his team threw in the towel! Tenshin Nasukawa is one of the best kickboxers in the world, having 28 fights and 28 wins to his belt, with also a decent record in MMA with 4 wins in 4 matches! This made people believe this was going to be a hard fight for Floyd but as we all know he didn’t put up much of a good fight! Nasukawa put up a post on Instagram about his experience fighting Mayweather and said he’ll be as strong as him in the future!

I have worked hard with a big dream in the combat world. Karate, Kickboxing, MMA and Boxing. When I first got the offer I took it in a flash. I thought this was an opportunity of a lifetime, and although there were significant differences in accomplishments and weight classes, I felt that I must not run and take on the challenge. The days since the fight was confirmed have been enjoyable but with concerns, and I spent the time thinking about many things. At the end of the day, I got finished, but I have no regrets. I am disappointed at myself since I thought I could have done better. But I will face the facts and will continue to take on any challenge. I learned that I didn’t work hard enough to earn this opportunity, and I will use this defeat to improve myself and move forward this year. Despite all the things that happened leading up to the fight, I came to realize how truly great Mayweather was. I was the one underestimating him. I promise to make it to that level! It said that Floyd made $9 million for only 139 Seconds, however SportsBible clam he made more than this but in Floyd’s Instagram post he says he only got $9 million pay-out! This event was told to be entertaining for many viewers and people said it would last the whole 3 rounds but, this didn’t happen unfortunately. Nasukawa put up a good fight but at the end he didn’t do much to Floyd! Th 41-year-old has still got his skills and remains as one of the best boxers in the world!
