Whyte could be getting his second boxing ban in the space of 8 years! A lot of speculation has started to surround him and the use of drugs. In his most recent fight, Whyte went up against Oscar Rivas and quite easily beat him on points other than in the 9th round, Whyte went down. Whyte ended up winning by unanimous decision, however there was some rumours that Whyte failed his drug test before going into the fight and still fought Rivas anyway! He was tested before the fight and was tested positive for a banned substance before beating Oscar Rivas. This could result in him being banned for longer than 8 years!
This has happened in the past for Whyte as well, in 2012 he was tested positive for unknowingly taking illegal supplements and ended up with a 2-year ban from boxing, he started fighting again back in 2014 and hasn’t had anything till now! It’s not confirmed yet, but there has been a lot of rumours going around about this being true.

If this is true and Whyte did take banned substances, the WBC board will make sure that Whyte will not be mandatory Challenger for the WBC world heavyweight championship and will ban him for longer than 8 years, however right now the WBC haven’t received any notification about the situation and are ” reviewing the situation” as of right now to further understand what is really going on, since no one really has a clue what is going on currently.
