One of the greatest lightweight fighters has retained his WBA world lightweight championship and will be named a great fighter from now on!
The fighter that is being trained by Floyd Mayweather is currently doing well and making a name for himself in the lightweight division. Fighting a lot of amazing fighters and managing to come out on top!
“I didn’t even throw that hard – I just threw it. He just ran right into it,” said 27-year-old Davis.
Davis managed to retain the WBA lightweight championship via KO in the 6th round to a massive left hook to Romero’s face and he stumbled into the ropes.
This doesn’t stop all the talks for Davis to fight another top lightweight fighter. Ryan Garcia is hoping and praying that he gets his chance to fight the unbeaten American soon. Even going as far as to tweet this!
“I’m next so let it be… December let’s get it.”
Which Davis replied with “Whatever they want to do I’m here.”
