Shield managed to win the bout cleanly and conformable against Hammer, even though she has been in more fights than her! Shield has now done the unexpected, done the unthinkable and won the bout to become the unified middleweight champion of the world! She has only been in 9 bouts and has achieved so much already!
Once the bout ended and the winner Claressa Shield decided to call out a Savannah Marshall. Marshall has only been boxing for 2 years and has won all her fights. Only being in 5 however! 5 wins with 3 coming by way of knockout! This could be the next big fight for both fighters that could change the women’s division once and for all! Marshall has only been to round 10 once in her career and has knocked out 3 opponents in round 2! So, Marshall could have a huge chance of beating Shield, but this fight may not happen!
