Former world Welterweight champion, Jeff Horn has publicly stated that he thinks he will be able to beat one of the best boxers in the world right now! He believes that he can beat Canelo and prove he isn’t a one fight wonder! He has currently lost 1 bout in 21 fights and does have the potential to beat Canelo, if he does get the opportunity to fight him. Canelo, to a lot of people, is one of the best boxers in the world and will most likely never lose another bout unless he fights Floyd Mayweather again! The 31-year-old boxer is famously known because he beat Manny Pacquiao back in 2017, but now wants to try his luck against Canelo.
Jeff Horn has been boxing for 6 years and has made a name for his self after beating Manny Pacquiao. He started his first fight back in 2013 against a fighter called Jody Allen. Ended up winning the bout via TKO in the 2nd round! His luck was short lived however when he drew to Rivan Cesaire on the 8th August 2013! He kept fighting and winning until, he went into the ring with Terrence Crawford… Crawford knocked Horn out in the 9th round, however other than them two occasions, he’s won every other bout, so will he be able to beat Canelo?
Canelo will be hard to fight since he always works on the body, meaning any form of body shot you get from Canelo, could be very fatal. Rocky Fielding knows what it feels like to be hit in the body by Canelo. Jeff would be able to stay for the whole 12 rounds, but I think he will lose on points or one of the body shots will put him down, meaning he’ll lose the fight via TKO!
