Anthony Joshua to Fight Andy Ruiz Jr?

Anthony Joshua to Fight Andy Ruiz Jr?

As we all know, Anthony Joshua was meant to be fighting the “American powerhouse” Jarrell Miller on the 1st June, however after three failed drug tests, find out what he had here, Joshua has to go a different route since they boxing board won’t let him fight Joshua… it is clear to see why! Jarrell Miller has currently been suspended by the WBA for six months due to him failing his drugs test, however now he is out of the picture… who will Joshua fight now! There have been a lot of rumours of one fighter, however he may not be fighting him now since Andy Ruiz Jr has said they are in talks!

The first man that was on Joshua’s list was Luis Ortiz, this is because he said he wanted to fight Joshua at one point in his career, however when the offer was made, he rejected it, however he would of made $5m, he asked for $10m! Ortiz is now out of the picture! This would have been an amazing fight that could of settled the Wilder v Joshua debate, since Ortiz has fought Wilder and lost via TKO in the 10th Round, so if Joshua beat him in any round below the 10th, we can safely assume Joshua would beat Wilder! They just need to fight to prove who is better!

Andy Ruiz Jr is looking like the man who will fight Joshua on June 1st! Reports say that the offer has been made and according to some reports, the fight is happening between Joshua and Ruiz Jr. Ruiz has had a successful career so far, competing in over 30 fights and winning all but one bout, which was against the former champion Joseph Parker! Andy Ruiz may not be the man everyone wanted Joshua to fight, but since his options aren’t the best right now, he is going to have to stay fighting him!

A lot of fans won’t be too happy with this since they paid money to watch Jarrell Miller, however they will keep the ticket and maybe, not sure if they will do this, give some money back to the people that bought the tickets! They may not do anything because we may see Andy Ruiz Jr go the distance with Joshua and maybe get a lucky win against the Englishmen!
