April 2019… Joshua v Wilder?

WBC board have demanded a rematch between both Tyson Fury and Wilder after a controversial draw that lead everyone to believe Wilder got lucky! Fury was the clear winner, but the judges said it was a draw, however, Joshua says he wants no one else just Wilder in April! Joshua has denied what Deontay Wilder said! All Joshua wants is a fight to happen in April and a fight that is that should have happened before now. “I’m not interested in Tyson Fury – he’s not the champion,” Joshua’s response to Fury’s call out. Anthony Joshua is yet to confirm anyone for his bout in 2019, however Eddie Hearn said, “it comes down to what Wilder wants to do”. Could this be the start of an epic contest? Or will Wilder end up rejecting this offer like he did before his fight against Tyson Fury? When Joshua appeared on ESPN he said, “I’m willing to fight Deontay Wilder on 13 April in London. I don’t know what more I need to do to get that message across. He’s more interested in fighting Tyson Fury. Fury holds no world titles”. Since it’s believed there will be a rematch between Fury and Deontay Wilder, we can only assume Eddie Hearn will be pulling out all the stops to get Wilder to fight in April!
