June 1st wasn’t the best day for Anthony Joshua, this was the day Joshua lost his first fight. A lot of fans thought Joshua would have lost a fight via points decision since Joshua was one of the best fighters in his division. This was the worst way to lose your first fight. TKO in the seventh round. Anthony Joshua was always scared of the one punch knockout, he knew one day this would happen, unfortunately for him, this came against the upset king Andy Ruiz Jr. In the third round, Joshua got hit with a great left hook which knocked his confidence down and he ended up down twice in that round! But now, he is wanting to fight again… however, not before he gains something back…
“I feel strong enough and I feel I can correct my wrongs,” Joshua told Sky Sports. He believes that this one fight was a one off and Ruiz would never be able to do this ever again if he tried. Joshua says that he will be fighting Ruiz in the rematch in his next fight, however he wants to gain his Passion for boxing before going into that fight. He lost his passion when he went up against Ruiz since he never had hate for him and never wanted to fight him, however he will be fighting him next and will regain that Passion!
No deal has been made about this fight yet, however this fight has been said not to be in the UK. Other sources believe that the fight is going to be in the UK, however BBC believe its not going to be in the UK. We are still waiting for the fight to be finalised and until then no one will have a clue where the fight will end up being, however Joshua would love for the fight to be in the UK.
