Amir Khan was meant to be fighting a fighter by the name of Neeraj Goyat, however this has been scrapped after Neeraj managed to pick up an injury before the fight! This injury happened after he was involved in a serious car crash a few months before the fight. Now that he is out of the fight… who will Amir Khan fight?
The next opponent is Billy Dib! Billy Dib was born on the 17th August 1985 in Sydney, Australia. He started his boxing career in 2004 where he went up against Chad Roy Naidu. Billy knocked him out in the last round of the contest and continued to win each fight, evening winning the IBO Asia Pacific super featherweight championship in the process. His first loss came to Steve Luevano, this was for the WBO world featherweight championship at the time. Fast forward to now, he has won 45 fights with 26 via KO and only lost 5 fights. He now has the opportunity to fight one fighter that has it all.

One problem with this contest is that Amir Khan is in the welterweight division, as for Billy Dib, he is in the featherweight division, so one of them will have to go up or down in divisions so they can fight, unless it’s an exhibition bout! Both fighters have lost the same amount of fights, however Khan has been in less but with more experienced fighters as Billy Dib hasn’t. The favourite is most likely going to be Khan since he has fought more world champions!
