13th April 2019, this was the date Joshua could have been fighting either Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury, however this may not be happening! After a lot of time spent trying to get the negotiations right and guarantee a fight in April, they didn’t manage to get the fight sorted. Mainly because Wilder wants to fight Fury again! As of right now, it is very likely that Joshua could be fighting either Dillian Whyte, who has said he didn’t want to fight Joshua, or Jarrell Miller! Jarrell Miller would be the better option for Joshua because that would mean he could make his US debut and could go on to fight Wilder after that fight… if he wins that is! We could be seeing Joshua v Miller in June?
This fight won’t be as good as some people may have hoped for due to everyone hoping for a Wilder or Fury fight to happen in April, however this could happen after this fight finishes! We could be seeing a new IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO champion however, if Jarrell Miller manages to take down Joshua, or, we could see him go up against Dillian Whyte again, since he has made his way back up the rankings and managed to secure a win against Chisora in December!
