A BMW driver who was caught multiple times by multiple cameras on the M6 is looking at 107 points on their driving licence.

The white 7 series.

The driver was caught by over 30 speed cameras on the M6, and on top of all of this, the driver is said to have had 2 bald tyres and no insurance on the car.

The BMW 7 series has since been impounded by police.

The Central Motorway Police Group tweeted this out.

Responding to the surprising tweet, one Twitter user replied saying: “Do you ever test a driver for IQ?”

Another tweeted: “Police should be able to seize car and auction it with proceeds going to road crime victims.”

And someone else added: “By the time he gets his licence back the only place he’ll be able to drive is an internal combustion engine theme park.

The unnamed driver was eventually stopped between junctions 14 and 15, near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, on Monday, after commuting a number of traffic offences. The man was later detained too.

He faces around 96 points for all of the speed cameras he flew past, at an average speed of 83mph by the way, in thick fog and roadworks, and then a further possible 11 for driving with bald tyres and no insurance. Driving with bald tyres usually lands you 3 points per tyre, a driving with no insurance can land you 8 points.
