A YouTube star has been given a 10-year prison sentence after being guilty of having and receiving indecent photos of children! A 26-year-old YouTuber by the name of Austin Jones admitted to having more than six underage girls sending him explicit videos and images in private messaging. In the Private messaging, there is evidence of him telling his “fans” to “prove they are fans” to get them to send indecent photos and or videos of themselves! He admitted to using Facebook on 30 other occasions to get underage girls to send photos to him!

Before pleading guilty to this, Austin Jones had over 500,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 250,000 fans on Twitter! He built up his fan base by making cover to famous songs and other challenges in the process! Right now, both accounts have been deleted following his sentence, however back in 2017 he was arrested and instead of deleting his channel, YouTube temperately blocked Jones channel! The way he got some of his photos and videos from his fans were from telling them it’s a modelling opportunity and would help them boost their Instagram accounts, however that wasn’t the case.
